Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department collaborates with Ez Tech to promote digital transformation in tax management.

Amidst the strong national digital transformation, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department and Ez Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a pioneering enterprise in the TaxTech field in Vietnam, providing technology solutions to support tax and financial management for individuals and business households) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding for strategic cooperation, aiming to support business households in transitioning from the lump-sum tax method to transparent, efficient, and compliant tax declaration.

According to the signed agreement, the two parties will coordinate the synchronized implementation of digital solutions in tax management, accompanying business households throughout the transition from manual to electronic methods. The focus is on supporting taxpayers in gradually familiarizing themselves with digital platforms, standardizing tax declaration and payment processes, and managing financial information in a transparent and convenient manner.

Through the application of technology, the goal is to increase the rate of online tax declaration and payment, reduce reliance on paper documents, and save time and costs for taxpayers. At the same time, both parties will promote cashless payments in line with the government 's direction, contributing to the formation of modern transaction habits within the business community.

In addition, communication and dissemination of tax policies will be strengthened, helping taxpayers access information more quickly, accurately, and comprehensively. This will raise awareness, increase voluntary compliance, and create a foundation for business households to gradually transition to a professional and sustainable management model.

Within the framework of the cooperation, Ez Tech Vietnam will deploy the EzTax platform – a tax technology solution (TaxTech) that applies artificial intelligence (AI) and a guided tax declaration method. This platform allows users to perform the entire process from tax declaration and payment to financial record management on a unified system, contributing to minimizing errors and improving accuracy.

On the tax authority's side, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department will cooperate in guiding, training, providing policy information, and creating conditions for technology businesses to participate in local business community support programs.

Furthermore, the collaboration aims to change business mindsets, encourage household businesses to proactively comply with regulations, gradually standardize operations, and develop into enterprises. Workshops, seminars, and direct support activities will be implemented to ensure the transformation process is synchronized and effective.

The memorandum of understanding reflects a commitment to long-term cooperation between the two parties based on the principles of voluntariness, transparency, and compliance with the law. This is expected to become a model, contributing to promoting public-private partnership initiatives in the field of tax administration nationwide.
