The story of Tet bonuses has also had many surprises when, in addition to the 13th month salary, some businesses also offer bonuses of cars and luxury phones to employees who achieve or exceed KPIs when there are less than 3 weeks left until Lunar New Year 2025.
Talking to VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Nguyen Anh Que, Chairman of G6 Group shared that the business situation has improved in 2024, employees have closed more deals, so the company also has a better Tet bonus plan than last year.
Mr. Que said that for the office block, there will be a 13th month salary bonus. Depending on the employees' ability and contribution throughout the year, the company will have a bonus ranging from a few million to a few tens of millions of dong.
However, for sales staff, there will be KPI bonuses. In particular, the company is having a 45-day and night campaign until Lunar New Year, with rewards of iPhones and cars for employees who meet or exceed targets.
At Dat Xanh Mien Bac, Mr. Vu Cuong Quyet, General Director, said that in 2023, the company had to cut a lot of staff to maintain operations, but by 2024, the number of staff had increased by 60-70%.
“Dat Xanh Mien Bac in Hanoi and its subsidiaries have all seen a sharp increase in the number of employees. In Hanoi, from 300-350 people, it has now increased to about 550-600 employees. Including the system in the North and its subsidiaries, the number of employees has reached thousands of employees,” Mr. Quyet informed.
According to the leader of Dat Xanh Mien Bac, from the second quarter of 2024, the real estate market has recovered and improved compared to last year, so the business of many enterprises has also improved, including his unit.
“Therefore, in addition to the 13th month salary, we will have appropriate bonuses for employees according to KPI,” said Mr. Quyet.
The company has not yet finalized the specific figures, but Mr. Quyet revealed that in addition to monthly salaries and bonuses, his company's employees' Tet bonuses this year are also "better than last year."
Looking back at 2023, at Khang Land Group, the company's leaders not only cut staff but also had to cut branches due to the general difficult market and low real estate liquidity. In 2024, the unit also recruited more staff to prepare for the 2025 plan.
Talking about this year's Tet bonus, Mr. Nguyen Vu Cao, Chairman of Khang Land's Board of Directors, revealed to VietNamNet: The administrative and accounting departments of the company will have a bonus of the 13th month salary. As for sales staff, the company has a bonus based on sales.
“There are employees who achieve sales of 4 billion VND in a month and exceed 50 billion VND in the whole year. In addition to salary and commission, they will receive a bonus for reaching the sales target of the year.
With a level of 50 billion VND, this employee will be rewarded an additional 100 million VND," Mr. Cao said.
Sharing more about the company's business plan in 2025, Mr. Cao said that the unit will focus on the market of Ho Chi Minh City and its suburbs, Nha Trang, Da Nang... In the North, the company focuses on the markets of Hanoi, Hung Yen, Bac Giang , Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh.

Although the law does not require a Tet bonus, this amount has long demonstrated the responsibility, sharing, and companionship of business owners. Especially when times are difficult, employees expect a Tet bonus even more.
Although the real estate market in 2024 is no longer as gloomy as in 2023 when real estate prices increased, the market still faces difficulties in liquidity and supply. Therefore, many businesses shared that, for the Lunar New Year 2025 bonus, the unit will only give a general bonus of the 13th month salary to employees.
They hope that in 2025, the market will be better, there will be more transactions, and brighter business results so that they can give their employees bigger Tet bonuses next year.
