VFF Standing Committee requests to strengthen the organization of the final matches of the 2024/25 season

In the context that the season is entering a decisive stage with high competition, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) requires relevant units to enhance their sense of responsibility, ensure organization and expertise to contribute to creating a successful, fair and transparent season.

Accordingly, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) needs to continue to strengthen supervision and closely evaluate the situation of each match, promptly provide written instructions to tournament participants on organization, ensuring security, safety and medical conditions in accordance with the regulations of the Tournament Charter and Professional Football Regulations.

  The Department of Sports and Physical Training and VFF recommend that clubs strengthen player education.

Members of the Referee Board need to work with the highest responsibility in refereeing at matches; appoint referees with the right capacity and suitable for the nature of the match according to the process approved by the VFF Executive Committee; after each round of matches, it is necessary to seriously learn from the referee teams' management experience, not to repeat past mistakes; evaluate the level of completion of the tasks of referees and assistant referees to appoint referees suitable for the professional nature of the final rounds; in case of necessity, coordinate with the Organizing Committee to study and propose inviting international referees in the region to officiate important matches, ensuring objectivity and fairness in the management of matches.

Supervisors and referees must play their roles to the fullest, manage matches fairly, in accordance with the Law, and strictly handle unsportsmanlike conduct. Referees at matches using VAR technology must coordinate closely to ensure accurate and convincing decisions.

Leaders and coaching staff of clubs need to strengthen player education on behavior and playing style, awareness of professionalism and responsibility towards the public, image and prestige of tournaments; promote the spirit of honest and noble competition; absolutely respect and comply with the decisions of referees, the Laws and Regulations of the tournament; closely coordinate with the Organizing Committee of the tournament and VFF, comply with the regulations on speaking according to the Professional Football Regulations; Strengthen management work, strictly prohibit match-fixing; be ready to cooperate with VFF, the Organizing Committee of the tournament and security agencies to detect and handle negative phenomena.

The Organizing Committee of the matches must closely coordinate with local authorities, strengthen measures to ensure security and health for the matches, the away team and the away team's fans; propagate and educate to raise awareness of the fans, resolutely prevent extreme acts that cause disorder and acts that affect the security and safety of the match.

For the development of Vietnamese football, the Standing Committee of the VFF requires VPF Company and members participating in the Tournament to coordinate in implementing the above instructions to contribute to the overall success of professional football tournaments.
