General Trinh Van Quyet: We need to spread the spirit of Directive No. 05-CT/TW...

On the afternoon of June 23, General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, and Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, chaired a conference to review the preparations for the program of exchanging exemplary models and to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016, of the Politburo on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style. Also attending was Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet commended the agencies and units for their efforts in overcoming difficulties and successfully completing the preparation work according to the set schedule and requirements.

General Trinh Van Quyet requested that relevant agencies incorporate the opinions expressed at the conference; continue to closely coordinate, revise, and supplement the content and requirements of the program for exchanging exemplary models and summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05. The goal is to ensure the following: reflect the heroic traditions of the Army ; the Party's policy and roadmap for building a lean, efficient, and strong Army, in line with President Ho Chi Minh 's teachings on army building; the dissemination of the spirit of Directive 05 throughout the army; overcome difficulties to successfully complete training and combat readiness tasks; proactively engage with the people; work with the government to build grassroots politics ; help people develop the economy and alleviate poverty; and highlight the Army's achievements in scientific research, technology application, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and building a digital society.

“For the program showcasing exemplary individuals: The stage design must be harmonious and reasonable, ensuring aesthetics and solemnity; the documentaries in the program must reflect outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in fulfilling the functions of the Army: fighting force, working force, and production force, linked to reflecting exemplary individuals in each aspect of work. In addition, the artistic performances must closely adhere to the program's content, create a positive emotional effect, contribute to enhancing the image of the Ho Chi Minh Army, and build confidence in the Army's strong development in the hearts of the people,” General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.
