On the afternoon of June 23, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army chaired the Conference to review the preparation work for the typical exchange program and summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Also attending was Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet commended the agencies and units for their efforts and overcoming difficulties to complete the preparation work on schedule and according to set requirements.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested: The competent authorities should absorb the opinions at the conference; continue to closely coordinate, edit, supplement and complete the contents and requirements of the typical exchange program and summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05. Ensure the goals well: Reflect the heroic tradition of the Army ; the policy and roadmap for building a lean, compact and strong Army of our Party, associated with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh on building the Army; the spread of the spirit of Directive 05 throughout the army, overcome difficulties to complete training tasks well, be ready to fight, proactively reach out to the people, work with the government to build grassroots politics , help people develop the economy , eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, the achievements of the Army in scientific research, technology application, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, building a digital society.

“For the Typical Exchange Program: The stage design must be harmonious and reasonable to ensure aesthetics and solemnity; the reports at the program must reflect outstanding results in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in performing the functions: Combat Army, Working Army, Production Labor Army of the Army, associated with reflecting typical individuals in each aspect of work. In addition, the art performances must closely follow the content of the program, create good emotional effects, contribute to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers and build trust in the strong development of the Army in the hearts of the people", Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.
