In order for the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels to achieve good results, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province promptly advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue documents to lead and direct throughout the preparation process for the organization of the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, term 2024 - 2029, in accordance with the spirit of Directive 22 dated May 25, 2023 of the Central Party Secretariat on leading the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. Specifically, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch 2252 dated June 13, 2023 to lead the organization of the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, term 2024 - 2029.
Based on the direction of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province promptly issued Instruction 45 dated July 24, 2023 on organizing congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of the province, term 2024 - 2029. Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province regularly visits the grassroots to inspect, guide and agree to select 15 commune-level Fatherland Front units to organize model congresses in January and February 2024, then hold a meeting to review experiences and the remaining units conduct the congresses.
Based on the direction of the Party Committee, the guiding documents and plans of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on organizing congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, up to now, 1,005/1,005 Front Working Committees have organized conferences for the 2024-2027 term; the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level promptly prepared personnel, documents, and conference program content. Up to now, 90/172 Vietnam Fatherland Fronts at the commune level have successfully organized their congresses.
Through the inspection of the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level, term 2024 - 2029, it can be seen that the preparation work was thoughtful, thorough, and strict in terms of document content and personnel plan; the program was reasonable; the decoration was lively and the propaganda work was vibrant in many diverse forms, reporting on the commune-level radio station, the "Front Fanpage", Zalo group...; the Presidium conducted the congress seriously, scientifically, ensuring the program and time as prescribed.
The highlight of the congress was that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level registered 280 works and tasks to welcome the congress (including 29 rural traffic bridges, 174 solidarity houses, 71 rural traffic routes, and 6 flower roads). The form of presenting political reports at the congress was innovated through television reports and vivid illustrations of the results of implementing the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front during the term.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level is truly a broad and vibrant political activity among all classes of people in the locality. According to the plan, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level will complete the organization of the congress by the end of March 2024, then the district and provincial levels will hold the congress in the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development".
The above results are thanks to the focused leadership and close direction of Party committees at all levels, the facilitation of the government, the close coordination of member organizations, the active participation of organizations, individuals, and communities, and the active participation of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, helping the congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level, term 2024 - 2029 in the province to take place as planned, creating an atmosphere of excitement, trust, and solidarity among the people.
The initial success of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level is an important premise to ensure the overall success of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the district level and of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tien Giang province, towards the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.
