Authorities are attempting to capsize the ship in search of the missing person.

Sensing the possibility that victims might still be trapped in the engine compartment of the sunken ship, at 11:30 PM on July 19th, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directly supervised the plan to capsize the ship, instructing functional forces to carry out the operation to search for victims.

Authorities are carrying out preparations to capsize the ship and search for the victims.

Four large vessels were deployed to the scene to carry out the operation of capsizing the ship for the search.

Quang Ninh province has mobilized four large vessels to the scene to assist in the salvage and capsize operation. Divers have completed their search around the hull, moved out, and are now attaching specialized ropes in preparation for capsizing the ship.

Alongside the capsizing of the boat, authorities continued to expand the search area with the goal of not missing any victims throughout the night.
