Conducting ship capsize to search for missing people

Realizing that there were still victims trapped in the engine room of the sunken ship, at 11:30 p.m. on July 19, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directly directed the plan to capsize the ship, requesting functional forces to deploy the capsize operation to search for victims.

Authorities carried out plans to capsize the ship to search for victims.

Four large ships were mobilized to the scene to carry out the search.

Quang Ninh Province has mobilized 4 large ships to the scene to assist in the salvage and capsize of the ship. The divers have completed their search around the hull, moved out and are tying specialized ropes to prepare to capsize the ship.

In parallel with the ship capsizing, authorities continued to expand the search area with the goal of not missing any victims during the night.
