Continuing to increase, the highest price of live pigs is 54,000 VND/kg

(GLO)- Today (November 25), the price of live pigs continued to increase by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg in many localities. In particular, the highest purchase price was 54,000 VND/kg, recorded in the Northern region.

Specifically, the price of live pigs reached 54,000 VND/kg in Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho and Hung Yen; and reached 53,000 VND/kg in Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai and Son La. These localities maintained stable prices compared to yesterday.

The increase in live hog price of 1,000 VND/kg was recorded in Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, An Giang and Vinh Long. Currently, the purchase price in these provinces and cities after the increase fluctuates between 50,000-53,000 VND/kg.

Can Tho alone recorded the strongest increase in the region and the whole country at 2,000 VND/kg, bringing the local purchase price of live pigs to 52,000 VND/kg.

The remaining localities maintained stable prices compared to yesterday. In particular, the price of live pigs in Gia Lai is currently unchanged at 48,000 VND/kg. Quang Tri, Hue and Da Nang continue to maintain the lowest price of live pigs in the country at 46,000 VND/kg.
