Northern region

The price of live pigs today (December 12, 2024) in the Northern region continued to record an increase in prices in some localities such as Ha Nam , Hanoi, Ninh Binh, all increased by 1,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Phuc increased by 2,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is fluctuating between 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg. Accordingly, provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh all reached the highest transaction price in the country at 65,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 12, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg in Khanh Hoa province and reached 62,000 VND/kg, the same price as the provinces: Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri and Quang Nam .

Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Thus, the lowest price of live pigs in this region has increased by 2 prices (2,000 VND/kg) in the past few days. Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 64,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 12, 2024) recorded a stable price when yesterday (December 11), the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Hau Giang, Tien Giang and Tra Vinh all increased by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates from 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. The provinces of Hau Giang, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh and Bac Lieu have the lowest price of live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs in many localities in the North and Central regions continued to increase slightly today. According to records, the price of live pigs nationwide is fluctuating from 61,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
