From exemplary individuals like Captain Nguyen Bao Chung, we can see that the flame of enthusiasm and dedication of the youth of Ca Mau continues to shine brightly, a spirit strongly disseminated through the "I Love My Homeland" journey launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.
Over 100 youth union members participated in the "I Love My Homeland" flag-raising ceremony at Ca Mau Cape.
In the vibrant atmosphere celebrating the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Youth Union (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2025), Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: "Each stage of the journey is a testament to the spirit of 'Wherever youth are needed, youth will be there; whatever is difficult, youth will overcome it'", contributing to fostering patriotism and national pride in the younger generation.
In 2025, the "I Love My Homeland" journey will consist of three stages: Youth Gratitude - Pride in the National Epic - Pride in Vietnam, with the highlight being the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in 34 provinces and cities. At Ca Mau Cape, amidst the solemn atmosphere beside the Hanoi flagpole, the moving rendition of "The Marching Song" resonated, evoking national pride in every citizen and visitor.
The Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le, a mother of a fallen soldier (Long Thanh hamlet, Phuoc Long commune).
Dr. To Ly Bang, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Ca Mau General Hospital, examines the health of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers during a tribute trip.
Since the beginning of the campaign, the youth of Ca Mau have organized 61 visits to care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, participated in demolishing 111 temporary houses, and mobilized more than 1,700 youth union members. The "New Rural Development Day" and "Green Sunday" movements have attracted more than 2,300 union members to carry out 180 youth projects and activities. Union members have also maintained a team to support online public services, with over 5,900 participations, assisting nearly 100,000 people.
The "I Love My Homeland" journey continues to nurture the aspirations, noble ideals, and the desire to contribute and the enthusiasm of young people.
The annual "I Love My Homeland" journey is not only an opportunity to express gratitude and pride in national traditions, but also a source of inspiration for young people to live beautifully, contribute, and grow, continuing the flame of patriotism and contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful Ca Mau homeland.
