The volunteer force participating are student volunteers from many universities and colleges in the province, including: 30 students from Tien Giang University operating in Tan Dien and Go Cong Dong communes; 10 students from Tien Giang College in Tan Dong commune; 10 students from Tien Giang Medical College in Tan Phu Dong commune.
This peak activity period takes place from July 21 to July 25, focusing on supporting people in carrying out administrative procedures and promoting digital transformation locally.
The "Digital Literacy for All" campaign has many practical meanings and contents such as popularizing digital knowledge, widely implementing the movement to popularize basic digital knowledge and skills for people in 11 border communes and wards of Dong Thap province. Thereby, raising awareness, forming habits and skills to apply digital technology in daily life, promoting the development of digital citizens, digital economy and digital society in border areas, contributing to narrowing the "digital gap" between regions.
Promote the pioneering role of union members and youth volunteers in propaganda work, support people in accessing, learning, practicing and applying digital skills, and forming the habit of using digital platforms to serve life and production.
These days, the teams are implementing many key activities such as promoting digital awareness; organizing live communication sessions, introducing digital citizenship, basic digital skills, and the role of digital transformation in life and production. Providing instructions on using essential platforms such as VNeID, National Public Services, e-wallets, digital banks, etc.
"1-on-1" support: Establish small teams to go to each household or group to support the installation of VNeID, e-wallet, instructions on using the National Public Service Portal, scanning QR codes, paying for electricity and water online, and protecting accounts.
Basic digital and AI skills training: Organize classes on how to look up authentic information, fight fake news, introduce simple AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) and skills to protect personal data and prevent technology fraud.
"Little Digital Citizen" Playground: Organizes activities for students aged 8-14 to get acquainted with computers, experience learning/entertainment tools, safe Internet usage skills and introduce simple AI.
Deploying "Market 4.0" and "Cashless Canteen": Instructing small traders and restaurants to install e-wallets and pay by QR code, making transactions more convenient and transparent.
