This reflects the warm support from the Party Committee, government, and people of Phuoc Tan ward, Dong Nai province, for their sons and daughters and new recruits fulfilling their sacred duty to the Fatherland through the "Supporting New Recruits" program.

The delegation from Phuoc Tan ward, Dong Nai province, held a cultural exchange with the new recruits.

In the vast training ground, the voices of local youth union members and new recruits blended together, resonating loudly. Through revolutionary songs and songs about love for the homeland and islands such as "In the Distant Islands," "The Homeland Calls My Name," and "The Sea Sings This Afternoon," a lively, intimate, and moving atmosphere was created. Applause and hearty laughter after each performance helped to dispel the fatigue after hours of strenuous training. The support from the local community became a great source of encouragement, helping the soldiers to be more confident, determined to overcome difficulties, and to train and mature.

New recruits enthusiastically participate in the "new recruit training support" program.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Gia Tu, Deputy Political Commissar of the Phuoc Tan Ward Military Command, emphasized: “Through this program, the locality hopes to promptly encourage the spirit of young people from the ward who are currently serving their military obligations at the unit and the new recruits undergoing training here. This demonstrates the responsibility and affection of the Party committee, government, and people of the locality towards the younger generation who are fulfilling their duty to protect the Fatherland.”

Simple gifts were personally handed to the new recruits by officials from the Phuoc Tan ward working group.

In particular, during the exchange, the stories about the homeland's islands and seas shared by the veterans of Truong Sa left a deep impression on the young officers and soldiers. These stories recounted the days of braving the waves at sea, the unwavering spirit of defending the islands and seas, the sacred camaraderie, and the steadfast oath of the Navy soldiers to protect the sovereignty of the nation's maritime territories. These simple yet heartfelt stories contributed to fostering pride and a sense of responsibility among the troops.

New recruit Nguyen Trong Phuoc, from Battalion 2, emotionally said: “I am very happy and moved to receive direct visits and encouragement from the local authorities right at the training ground. I will always strive to study, train, strictly abide by military discipline, and successfully complete the assigned tasks.”

The delegation presented gifts to the unit and the new recruits.

Besides the exchange activities, the delegation also directly observed some of the unit's training content, presented gifts to encourage new recruits to uphold a sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, actively study and train, and successfully complete the 2026 new recruit training course.

The "Supporting the Training of New Recruits" program, though simple, carries profound meaning, contributing to strengthening solidarity between the locality and the unit, and providing motivation for new recruits to study and train with peace of mind. This further affirms the responsibility and affection of the home front for young people in their journey of contributing to and protecting the Fatherland.
