Continue to strengthen the all-people national defense.

On the morning of February 6th, the Ministry of National Defence held a conference to summarize defence work in central and local ministries and agencies in 2025 and to implement tasks for 2026. The conference was chaired by Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

• Strengthening the faith of ethnic and religious communities.
• Finance Sector: Strengthening the macroeconomic foundation, creating room for rapid and sustainable growth.
• Strengthening the defensive "shield" from the grassroots level.

The conference was held online, connecting central and local ministries and agencies. Attending from the Provincial Military Command's location were Mr. Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial Military Command.

By 2025, central and local ministries and agencies have comprehensively led and directed the completion of national defense tasks; strengthened the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in national defense; closely integrated socio-economic development with national defense, security, and foreign affairs; built increasingly solid national defense potential and posture, contributing to maintaining political stability and creating a favorable environment for national development.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the achievements; identifying limitations, their causes, and proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of leadership, guidance, and the development and implementation of national defense policies and laws in the future.

Central ministries and agencies, military regions, and localities continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on national defense and security; proactively grasp the situation, and provide strategic advice to effectively handle military and defense situations. At the same time, they adjust strategic deployments, defense plans, and combat plans to suit the new administrative boundaries.

Furthermore, it is necessary to continue strengthening the Party's leadership and the State's management of military and national defense affairs ; effectively combine socio-economic development with the consolidation of national defense, security, and foreign relations; leverage the combined strength to build a comprehensive national defense system linked to a strong people's security posture; and build strong armed forces to meet the requirements of the new situation.

On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defence awarded commendations to 17 collectives and 6 individuals for their outstanding achievements in national defence work in 2025.
