TikToker stars in both Ly Hai and Victor Vu's movies on April 30th

On the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the Vietnamese box office was bustling with the arrival of two major movies. Among them, the movies "Lat mat 8: Vong tay nang" and "Tham tu Kien: Ky an khong dau" had their first screenings and officially opened on April 30.

Both films feature a star-studded cast. Among them, Tin Nguyen is an actor who appears in both projects.

In "Detective Kien: The Headless Case", Tin Nguyen plays Mui - a servant of the mandarin Liem (Meritorious Artist Xuan Trang). She plays an important role in searching for the missing girl, and at the same time has unexpected psychological changes.

Mui has a cowardly personality, lives in poverty but always seeks happiness, and has a good nature. Therefore, she is easily seduced by bad people. Tin Nguyen's performance as the servant is praised for being realistic, making the audience not recognize her in real life.

On the occasion of April 30, Tin Nguyen also had a supporting role in the film "Flip Side 8: Vong Tay Nang". She played the role of a dance choreographer born in a poor rural area, always dreaming of shining on stage.

Originally a dancer and TikToker, Tin Nguyen gained attention from her role as a coastal daughter-in-law in "Flip Side 7: A Wish" a year ago. She played the wife of Tu Hau (Quach Ngoc Tuyen), with a lisp and a fierce personality. The role helped her make her mark in Ly Hai's project with a revenue of over 400 billion VND.

Tin Nguyen was born in 1997, originally from Phu Yen , and was a dancer in a dance troupe in Nha Trang. She studied preschool education and worked as a dance teacher for children.

In recent years, Tin Nguyen has become famous as a tiktoker, talented in dancing, singing, playing instruments, fashion ... She won the TikTok Master 2023 Championship, has 5.2 million followers and more than 274 million likes with many videos about short films and special skits.

Before participating in "Lat mat 7", Tin Nguyen played "Chu Ut Cau con Cuc" with Huynh Lap. The female TikToker considers herself a "newbie" among veteran actors and young people with formal acting training.

On the other hand, Tin Nguyen was accepted for the role entirely on her own merit. Her live audition posted on Ly Hai - Minh Ha's TikTok channel once garnered nearly 14 million views.

Meanwhile, famous tiktoker Vien Vibi (Tran Thanh Huong Vien) with more than 10 million followers also auditioned for the film. But in the end, Tin Nguyen was the chosen name.
