Last week, tech leaders like OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei signed a joint statement on the risks of AI.
On June 5, Apple held its WWDC 2023 developer event, where it introduced new applications of machine learning technology for iPhone, iPad and Mac as well as better AI tools for auto-correction, spell check in texting, and more comprehensive facial recognition to identify friends, family and pets in photos.
