Accordingly, at approximately 1 PM on May 27th, search teams found the body of Ng. in the Dakia reservoir area, about 6 km from where the girl went missing. After completing the necessary procedures, the authorities handed over the victim's body to the family for burial.
As reported by the Vietnam News Agency (TTXVN), on the afternoon of May 24th, due to heavy rain, a strong flood from upstream swept away a child named Ng., who was near the area, in the stream bordering the B'Nơr B and Đăng Gia Dềt B residential areas (Langbiang ward - Da Lat). Immediately after discovering the incident, local residents and authorities mobilized hundreds of people along with many vehicles such as excavators and boats to search for the child downstream in multiple directions.
However, due to the large area and numerous streams in the region, the search operation faced difficulties. It wasn't until the afternoon of May 27th that the search yielded results. Following the incident, leaders of Langbiang ward, Da Lat, visited and offered condolences and support to the family in arranging the funeral for the victim.
