Speaking to CAND Newspaper reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Vinh, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police, said that after many hours of searching throughout last night until 10:27 this morning (July 14), rescue forces found the body of Mr. Ngo Tu (born in 1971, residing in Xuan Binh village, An Xuan commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province in the past - now Tuy An Tay commune, Dak Lak province).

As reported by CAND Newspaper, at around 4:00 p.m. on July 14, while two teenagers in Suoi May village, Xuan Phuoc commune ( Dak Lak ), Seo Y Thin and La Mo Y Vuong, were herding cows by the Phu Xuan reservoir in this locality, they discovered a man drowning in the lake. The two teenagers ran to the hamlet to inform the people, but by then the victim had already drowned. When Xuan Phuoc commune police arrived at the scene, they found 2 mobile phones and 1 citizen identification card of the victim, Ngo Tu, left on the lake shore.

That same night, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Zone 9 under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province mobilized 6 officers and soldiers carrying rescue tools to the scene by car to coordinate with the police, militia, members of the security and order team and local people to search for the victim. It was not until 10:27 this morning that the body was recovered and handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
