Colonel Nguyen Manh The (born June 12, 1943; hometown: Hong Minh Commune, Hung Yen Province; permanent residence: No. 31, Alley 36/1, Lane 36, An Hoa Street, Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi City) - former Warden of Tong Le Chan Prison, C10, Ministry of Public Security; passed away at 5:35 p.m. on September 15, 2025 (July 24, At Ty Year) at his home, at the age of 83.

He was awarded: Second-class Resistance Medal; First-class Feat of Arms Medal; Third-class Fatherland Protection Medal; For the Young Generation Medal; Medal for National Security; First, Second and Third-class Glorious Soldier Medal; Commemorative Medal for the cause of the elderly; 60-year Party membership badge and many other noble titles.

The funeral will be held from 7am to 9am on September 17, 2025 (Wednesday) at the Funeral Home of Hospital 103, No. 89 Phung Hung Street, Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi City.

The memorial service and funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on September 17, 2025.

Cremation at Hoan Vu Crematorium, Hoang Liet Ward, Hanoi City.

Burial at the hometown cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on September 18, 2025 (Thursday), Nhue village, Hong Minh commune, Hung Yen province.
