The 50th Hanoi Moi Newspaper Run - For Peace 2025 was assigned by Hanoi City to two agencies: Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports as the permanent co-organizers. The launching ceremony took place on March 23 at the Ba Kieu Temple flower garden and around Hoan Kiem Lake along with the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people.

This unique combination has been maintained for 6 years now, so that communes and wards across the city have jointly organized two events, creating a vibrant atmosphere of physical training and sports in the area. With special attention and direction from the city to the grassroots, up to now, most communes and wards in the city have organized grassroots running tests. The number of participants in the test runs exceeded the set target. The quality of the competition has also been significantly improved.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Lai Ba Ha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, said: “With special attention and direction from the city to the grassroots level, up to now, most communes and wards in the area have organized grassroots-level general running tests.
