Resolution 68 - "Golden era" for private economy

( Hai Phong city).
Resolution No. 68-NQ/TU dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on "Private Economic Development" (Resolution 68) marks a historic milestone, not only affirming its role but also giving full confidence, opening up unprecedented opportunities for the private economy to rise to become the most important driving force of the Vietnamese economy.
After nearly 40 years of Doi Moi, especially the period of national opening and deep international integration, Vietnam's private economy has risen strongly.
In particular, the Resolution focuses on ensuring legitimate property rights, real freedom of business, creating a level playing field in accessing resources (capital, land, technology, information) and market opportunities.
With Resolution 68, the "golden era" for Vietnam's private economy officially began.
Environmental protection policy in agriculture:
Towards a green, safe and sustainable model

After nearly two years of implementing Resolution No. 08/2023/NQ-HDND of the Hanoi People's Council on policies to encourage agricultural development, including important content on environmental protection, many green agricultural models have been formed and shown clear effectiveness.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment Ta Van Tuong commented: "The above results show that the policy not only contributes to improving production efficiency, but also spreads environmental protection awareness in the farming community."
From the results achieved, it can be affirmed that Hanoi's environmental protection policy in agriculture is bringing "green" to the fields, as well as lighting up hope for a civilized and sustainable agricultural production - for the health of the community today and tomorrow.
Increasing teacher responsibility, reducing the gap in education quality

The spirit of solidarity and responsibility among teachers increased, the gap in education quality between inner-city and suburban schools decreased.
With the support of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District, for more than a year, teacher Pham Ngoc Anh from Kim Dong Primary School regularly went directly to Khanh Thuong Primary School 2 days a week to share her teaching experience. Her perseverance and efforts have contributed significantly to the change of teachers and students here. The quality of education at the school has changed positively; teachers and students are more confident, proactive and actively participate in activities.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that in order to continue to maintain and spread the movement, education and training departments and schools need to make the movement a content in the annual emulation and reward assessment, establishing the movement as an official criterion reflecting the effectiveness of educational activities of each unit.
Infrastructure in urban areas - When will it be completed?
Lesson 1 : "Wave" of urban construction

Following the urban development trend, many areas in Hanoi have become "livable places" thanks to the real amenities that new urban area and housing projects bring.
Specifically, 108 projects have basically completed technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and people have moved in; 158 projects have not been completed, including: 15 projects are in progress, 143 projects are out of progress.
Among the 158 unfinished projects, many projects have not yet invested in building infrastructure systems according to approved plans.
However, many areas of "golden" land have been left fallow for many years... Many unfinished projects causing waste of land resources for a long time are a great concern of local authorities and people where the projects are located.
Commemorating the 71st Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025):
Dien Bien Phu - a strategic decisive battle in the Ho Chi Minh era

71 years ago, under the leadership of the Party, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, our army and people achieved the "famous Dien Bien Phu victory, shaking the world", gloriously ending the resistance war against the invading French colonialists and American interventionists.
The victory at Dien Bien Phu on May 7, 1954, not only completely destroyed the strongest military stronghold of French colonialism in Indochina, but also forced France to sit at the negotiating table at the Geneva Conference, signing an agreement to withdraw troops from North Vietnam, ending the war of aggression.
The Dien Bien Phu victory not only created a heroic historical moment, but also left for today profound lessons about force organization, about belief in victory, and especially about the strength of the great national unity bloc.
In the journey of building and defending the Fatherland today, the "Dien Bien Phu spirit" will forever be the guiding light, the strength to help our nation move forward firmly, overcome all challenges, for the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
