News, forecast of coffee prices tomorrow 7/30/2025

Domestic coffee price forecast on July 30, 2025

Domestic coffee prices on July 29 recorded a significant increase of VND800-900/kg and are forecast to continue to increase on July 30, 2025. The main reason is the severe heat that has lasted since the beginning of the year in key growing areas such as the Central Highlands, Vietnam, which has seriously affected the growth and productivity of coffee trees, leading to a shortage of domestic supply.

Experts say that with supply showing no signs of improvement and demand remaining stable, domestic coffee prices may continue to stay high or have a slight upward trend in tomorrow's trading session.

World Coffee Price Forecast July 30, 2025

The world coffee market, especially Robusta coffee on the London floor, had an impressive growth on July 29 with a triple-digit increase. It is forecasted that this upward trend will continue on July 30, 2025, and may even be stronger.

The main factor driving up global coffee prices is the concern that the US will impose a 50% tariff on Brazilian goods from August 1, 2025, causing disruptions to the supply chain. In addition, extreme weather conditions in Brazil (drought and unusually heavy rains) have significantly reduced Arabica production, estimated to decrease by 13-14% compared to the previous crop. The amount of coffee stored in standard warehouses on the ICE exchange is also at its lowest level in the past 10 years, while global consumption demand continues to grow steadily.

A combination of tight supplies, potential trade policy and rising production costs will continue to push coffee prices on international exchanges to highs in tomorrow's trading session.

General future trends

Overall, the global coffee market is forecast to maintain a strong upward momentum in late July and into early August 2025. Fundamental factors such as adverse weather in key producing countries (Brazil, Vietnam), tight global supply, increasing consumption demand, and especially the new US tax policy on Brazilian goods, are all putting great pressure on coffee prices.

According to experts from FAO, Rabobank and World Bank, coffee prices will remain high throughout 2025. If weather conditions in the next crop year improve and production recovers in some countries such as Colombia, the market may witness a slight adjustment in early 2026. However, in the short term, especially tomorrow, July 30, 2025, the coffee market is forecast to continue to be "full of green" in both domestic and international markets.
