Overview of the meeting
The Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange was established in 2007 together with the Central Association to unite and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Victims of Agent Orange; at the same time, fight for justice, call for sharing in the community to ease the pain of Agent Orange. Over the years, the Association has become a common home and a solid support for victims and families of people infected with Agent Orange.

Mr. Truong Binh Long - Chairman of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin said that the Association has regularly focused on widely propagating to Party members, union members and members of mass organizations to effectively implement the Party and State's policies on people infected with Agent Orange in localities throughout the province. At the same time, it has done a good job of reviewing and updating changes in victims, regularly coordinating with relevant agencies, actively mobilizing organizations and individuals to support and help victims of Agent Orange. Mobilizing victim funds according to plan, launching the emulation movement "For victims of Agent Orange". Strengthening and perfecting the organization of the Association in terms of quantity and quality to ensure the implementation of tasks in the new situation.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin has mobilized to present 450 gifts to Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the whole province, each gift worth 2 million VND in cash.
At the meeting, the Association presented 50 gifts, each consisting of rice and necessities worth 500,000 VND, to help share some of the material and spiritual difficulties of the victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. Thereby, contributing to demonstrating the role and responsibility of local departments, branches, and political organizations in sharing and joining hands to ease the pain of Agent Orange.

Also at the meeting, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin commended 11 collectives and 110 individuals with achievements in the emulation movement "For victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin" in the period 2020-2025.
