Djokovic falls into a difficult bracket
According to the draw results for the 2025 French Open (Roland Garros), Novak Djokovic will be in the same bracket as Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev, along with a number of other promising young players.
To reach the final, Djokovic may have to face runner-up Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals, before potentially facing Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals.
The draw of young Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz is considered easier.
The French Open tennis tournament takes place from May 25 to June 8, with a total prize fund of 56.352 million euros, an increase of 5.21% compared to 2024.
The prize for the men's and women's singles winners is €2.55 million, an increase of almost €150,000 compared to 2024.

The Brazilian winger has scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists in 56 appearances this season, helping Barcelona complete the "domestic treble" of La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
Rewarding Raphinha's contributions, Barcelona extended his contract until 2028.
"It's very special and the feeling of being part of the Barcelona family for another year makes me very happy," said Raphinha. "My dream is to stay here until the end of my career and I hope to do that at my best."

England captain Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) has been named Bundesliga Player of the Year for the 2024-2025 season, capping off an exceptional campaign for him with Bayern Munich.
The striker scored 26 goals and provided eight assists in the league, leading the scoring charts for the second consecutive year and becoming the first player in Bundesliga history to do so in his first two seasons.
Upon receiving the award, Kane expressed his gratitude: "Thank you, it's great! I think the first thing is to thank all the fans. Of course I'm also grateful to all my teammates and the coaching staff at Bayern Munich.
This is a recognition of all our efforts throughout the season. So this award is also yours, not just mine. I am very proud to receive it."
