Real threatens to abandon King's Cup final
Real Madrid are considering cancelling the Copa del Rey final against Barca, which will take place at 3am on April 27 (Vietnam time), after the organizers rejected their request to change the referee.
Real Madrid were present in Seville (where the final took place) but the team did not go to the training ground, did not attend the press conference, and did not participate in the events arranged by the organizing committee. Real Madrid did this to protest the decision to assign the referee for the Copa del Rey final.
Before that, when Real Madrid learned that referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea was the referee for the final match, they posted a video pointing out the referee's mistakes and said that it was disadvantageous to Real Madrid. Immediately, referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea held a press conference to respond to Real Madrid, causing tensions between the two sides to peak. Real Madrid then requested to change the referee but was not accepted.

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic believes that his Spanish junior Carlos Alcaraz will be one of the big tennis players in the next 10, 15 years.
“What Alcaraz is doing at his age is incredible. I am sure he will win many more titles in the next 10 or 15 years,” Djokovic said after Alcaraz announced he would withdraw from the 2025 Madrid Open due to injury.
Before withdrawing from the Madrid Open 2025, Alcaraz was having a bad season when he was eliminated early at the Miami Open 2025 and lost in the final of the Barcelona Open 2025. That made him receive a lot of criticism and Djokovic's comment was the way for the Serbian player to protect his junior.
