Dak Lak province proposes the Central Government to hand over to the province the management of National Highway 14, the section passing through Buon Ma Thuot City.

At a recent working session with the Ministry of Construction's working delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai proposed that the Ministry of Construction consider and hand over to Dak Lak province the management of Ho Chi Minh Road (National Highway 14) through Buon Ma Thuot City.

Assigning the management of the road to the locality will help the locality be more proactive in repairing, maintaining and organizing traffic, and making synchronous arrangements suitable to the actual situation.

According to the latest report of the Department of Construction, Dak Lak province is currently assigned to manage 5 national highways passing through the province, with a total length of nearly 469 km. Specifically, National Highway 26, 91 km long; National Highway 14C, 98.5 km long; National Highway 19C, 26.5 km long; National Highway 27, 88 km long and National Highway 29, nearly 165 km long.
