City leaders meet with press agencies and journalists

DNO - On the afternoon of June 19, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with press agencies and journalists in the city to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang; Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh; Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang attended the meeting.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi sent best wishes to all journalists in the city.

Reviewing the 100-year history of development of Vietnam's revolutionary press, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed that Da Nang press has always been a core force, playing an important role on the ideological and cultural front, making great contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland and Da Nang homeland.

The city's press has overcome many difficulties and challenges and has constantly grown in both quantity and quality; developed strongly on digital media platforms, constantly innovating and creating to meet the society's need for fast and accurate information.

The city's leaders hope that the city's journalism team will continue to make many outstanding contributions, affirming their worthy position in Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, and accompanying the city to conquer new heights in the new era - the era of national growth.

Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television Doan Xuan Hieu, on behalf of journalists in the city, thanked the city leaders for their attention in the past time, always creating all conditions for the press to operate, helping the team of journalists to complete their tasks well, have good products, and spread the beautiful image of the city to the public at home and abroad.
