VietnamPlus reporter received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee.

On June 20, at the Cao Bang Provincial Conference Center, the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025); awarded the "For the Cause of Vietnam Journalism" Medal of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; presented Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with many achievements in information and propaganda work in Cao Bang province.

Journalist Vo Manh Hung (VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper) and Journalist Nong Van Dat (Head of Vietnam News Agency's permanent office in Cao Bang province) are 2 of 30 reporters and journalists honored to receive certificates of merit from the Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee on this special occasion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of press agencies and journalists in recent times; highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and capacity of journalists and at the same time requested press agencies and journalists to continue to cultivate political qualities, truly innovate in thinking, thinking and working methods to meet the revolutionary tasks.

The Vietnamese press has entered the digital age, with hundreds of print, radio, television and electronic press agencies, tens of thousands of reporters, editors and technicians working hard on the ideological-cultural-communication front; continuing to promote the role of a shock force in propaganda work; contributing to the fight to protect the ideological foundation, creating unity in thought and action within the Party and consensus in society.

Besides, the press truthfully reflects the breath of life, protects the legitimate rights of the people; fights against corruption and negativity, accompanying the cause of national development and international integration.

Mr. Cuong also requested reporters, journalists, and press agencies of Cao Bang province to constantly innovate, create, and improve the quality of both content and form of publications; the team of journalists of the province always closely follows the Party's policies and guidelines, the province's socio-economic development program, is dedicated to the profession, and is close to the grassroots and practical life.

Along with that, reporters and journalists need to explore and be creative to have more high-quality journalistic works, contributing to spreading good values, creating trust and high consensus in society; quickly approaching new media technology, modern journalism methods to meet the requirements of propaganda work in the new situation.

On this occasion, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee also presented flowers to congratulate the press agencies that have actively informed and promoted about Cao Bang province; commended and honored the authors and groups of authors whose works won the National Press Award and the Press Award organized by the Central ministries and branches in 2024 - 2025.

In particular, the leaders of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives and 30 individuals with many achievements in information and propaganda work in the province; 9 individuals were awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of Vietnamese journalism" by the Vietnam Journalists Association./.
