Cao Bang: Dinh Phong Commune needs to ensure the progress and effectiveness of the Sustainable Poverty Reduction Program.

The commune's report shows that in 2025, Dinh Phong commune issued many documents directing and implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; established working groups in charge of each hamlet; and at the same time, organized the dissemination of policies to the people. The total capital plan assigned to the commune was more than 28.8 billion VND, and by October 27, more than 6.3 billion VND had been disbursed, reaching 22.15% of the plan. The People's Committee of the commune committed to strive to complete 100% of the disbursement plan in 2025.

Some component projects have achieved positive results, of which the housing support project has disbursed 77.3%, basically completing the support for 49 poor households in need. However, projects on livelihood diversification, vocational education , capacity building, and communication are still in the preparation stage, expected to be disbursed by the end of the year.

Through reality, Dinh Phong commune recommends that the province continue to pay attention and support in the implementation process to achieve efficiency and progress of disbursement as planned. Direct departments, branches and sectors to strengthen technical and professional guidance; simplify administrative procedures in project and sub-project documents and capital settlement work. In addition, the locality proposes to invest more in essential infrastructure to serve production and people's lives in difficult areas, especially transportation, irrigation, and domestic water supply; expand training courses, capacity building for grassroots officials and the community, foster production skills, household economic management, contributing to promoting sustainable poverty reduction.

Concluding the working session, the Supervisory Delegation requested that Dinh Phong commune continue to strengthen propaganda, publicity and transparency of policies, avoid profiteering; improve the capacity of professional staff; proactively coordinate with departments and branches to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. At the same time, it is necessary to promptly advise on adjusting capital plans for sources that no longer have beneficiaries, strengthen internal inspection and supervision, promptly correct errors, and ensure that projects are implemented on target, effectively and sustainably.
