Nearly 1,400 people attended the 1st Phuoc Hoa Commune Sports Festival in 2025

On the morning of November 8, the People's Committee of Phuoc Hoa commune (HCMC) held the opening ceremony of the 1st Commune Sports Festival in 2025 with the participation of nearly 1,400 cadres, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, students and workers.

The opening ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with a parade of 25 groups demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and health of the locality.

At the 1st Phuoc Hoa Commune Sports Festival in 2025, athletes competed in 10 sports, including 8 official sports including billiards, chess, Chinese chess, table tennis, badminton, football, aerobics and men's and women's volleyball.

The official competitions will be held from October 18 to November 1, 2025. The two supporting events, tug of war and stick pushing, will be held immediately after the opening ceremony.

Giving souvenir flags to units and groups attending the congress

Through the Congress, the Organizing Committee will select outstanding collectives and athletes to represent Phuoc Hoa commune to participate in the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Sports Festival in 2026.
