Promoting the tradition of “Dong Xoai blazing with victory”, all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the area are mobilizing and making the most of resources and groups of solutions, closely linking the Party’s will and the people’s hearts. All for the goal of turning Dong Xoai into a “civilized, ecological, and humane” city.

A solid foundation for development

Dong Xoai Ward, Dong Nai Province was established on the basis of merging Tien Thanh Ward and Tan Thanh Commune of Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc Province before with a natural area of 81.33km², population of 35,887 people. The locality has certain advantages, well-invested infrastructure, well-planned development space, diversified economy, from industry, services to trade, agriculture... This is a solid foundation for Dong Xoai to make great strides in the new development process.

The Viet-Uc traffic route connects National Highway 14 with many garden areas in Tan Thanh 7 Ward (Dong Xoai Ward). For many years, this route has been damaged and degraded, significantly affecting people's travel and trade. Thanks to the attention and investment of the local government, the project to renovate, upgrade and expand the route with a total capital of 5.5 billion VND is being accelerated by the construction unit, determined to complete and put into operation in December 2025.

As a citizen who has benefited from the local development process, Mr. Bui Khai (residing in Tien Thanh 7 ward), a 55-year Party member, shared: “Through monitoring, I feel very confident and have high expectations when the Party's resolution has been put into practice; from infrastructure to people's lives and incomes are constantly being improved. That is proof of the correct leadership of the Party Committee and local government.”

Along with public works, education and training is also a priority area for local investment to maintain 100% of schools in the area meeting national standards.

Mr. Le Xuan Truong, Principal of Tan Thanh Secondary School, expressed: “The teachers and students of the school are very excited when the locality invested in building 9 classrooms and functional rooms. This is a favorable condition to help the school improve the quality of teaching and learning, ensure facilities for teaching 2 sessions/day as well as implementing the 2018 General Education Program”.

Promote the spirit of service and creation

Based on the orientation, leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the entire political system of Dong Xoai ward has taken action, especially in operating the government apparatus effectively and efficiently, with a spirit of service and creation.

Mr. Duong Hoai Pha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Xoai Ward, said: "We have determined that we must shift from management to creation, taking people and businesses as the center, aiming for the fastest and most effective service. Along with that, there must be a breakthrough in the application of science and technology in the management process, aiming for digital government, providing 100% level 4 online public services... In the coming time, the People's Committee of the ward will continue to strengthen direction, administration, and successfully implement the resolution set forth by the Party Congress of the ward for the 2025-2030 term."

In the 2025-2030 term, Dong Xoai ward has identified a number of key targets in key areas, as a basis for leadership, direction and mobilization of the entire political system and people. In particular, in the 9 groups of economic development targets set by the Dong Xoai Ward Party Committee, there are core targets such as: the average annual growth rate of total product value is 14% or more; by 2030, the proportion of industry - construction reaches 54.84%, trade - services reaches 35.59%, agriculture decreases to 9.57%; developing high-tech agriculture, sustainable urban agriculture; average income per capita by 2030 increases by 60% compared to 2025; ensuring that budget revenue generated in the area meets and exceeds the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, with an average growth rate of 14% or more.

Effectively exploiting land funds to serve the development of new, high-quality urban areas, promoting the role and responsibility of young, dedicated, and skilled staff; prioritizing synchronous investment in technical infrastructure to serve digital transformation are the foundation for localities to best serve people and businesses, promote economic development, improve people's lives, and bring the locality to progress quickly and sustainably.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Dong Xoai Ward People's Council Vu Van Muoi emphasized: "We will harmoniously combine internal and external resources to create a breakthrough in development with the motto "dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate, dare to face difficulties and challenges and act decisively for the common good".

Implementing the policy of being close to the people, after the 2-level local government came into operation, with a team of well-trained officials, meeting new requirements and streamlining, operating more and more effectively. The satisfaction rate of the people is always high, reflecting a breakthrough in service quality. That shows a strong improvement in the attitude and sense of responsibility of the civil servants as well as the increasing consensus and satisfaction of the people in the process of implementing administrative procedures.

The determination, proactiveness and creativity in the leadership and direction of the entire political system and the consensus of the people are the important foundation and premise for the locality to strive to successfully complete the targets and tasks set out in the congress resolution, and the goal of Dong Xoai becoming a "civilized, ecological and humane" urban area will not be too far away for the Party Committee, government and people here.
