As someone who has accompanied the women entrepreneurs movement since the early days, how do you feel about entering the consolidation phase and preparing for the first congress?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: Honestly, my feelings right now are both proud and moved. I have been associated with the Binh Dinh Women Entrepreneurs Association since the early days when there were many difficulties, when the concept of female entrepreneurs was still new, when women had to assert themselves in the challenging business world.

Over the years, the Association has gradually grown, gained position and voice in the community. And when it entered the stage of merging with the old Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association to become the Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, I considered it a special milestone, from two streams converging into a large, strong river, rich in identity and full of potential.
I believe that this unity is not to "dissolve" but to "blend", so that each member retains its own characteristics and together create something greater.
The merger of the two associations may create certain differences in culture and working style. How do you see that?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: I do not see it as a challenge, but as an opportunity. Because when we accept differences and learn from each other, we will grow. The Gia Lai Women Entrepreneurs Association now has sisters from the dynamic, creative, and affectionate coastal areas, and also sisters from the resilient highlands, full of aspirations to rise up.
That combination creates a multi-colored picture and if we know how to harmonize, we will have a group that is both soft and strong. The most important thing is the spirit of "a common home", where no one is left behind, no one is lost. I hope that every member feels that: The Association is a place to share, to be more confident, to dare to dream and to dare to act.
In your opinion, what is the greatest value that female entrepreneurs bring to the community and society today?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: Women doing business not only contribute to creating material wealth, but also spread profound human values. I have witnessed many women shouldering the burden of businesses, taking care of hundreds of workers, and still spending time on volunteer activities, helping disadvantaged women and children.
The Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association and the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association (old) met and unanimously approved the merger project to establish the Gia Lai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association.
What is precious is that you do everything with love and responsibility. We do not compete to win or lose, but compete to develop together, to spread positive energy together.
I often tell members that women in business not only keep the fire burning in their businesses, but also spread the fire to the community. That is the soft power, the unique beauty of Vietnamese women.
The first Congress is considered a special milestone. What goals and directions will the Association set for the new term, Madam?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: The first congress is both a start and a step to affirm the position of the Association in the new development stage of Gia Lai province. We have identified a number of key tasks, such as strengthening the organization and uniting members, building a friendly and democratic working environment where female entrepreneurs are listened to, respected and supported.

Improve management capacity and knowledge, organize training programs, share experiences, support digital transformation and sustainable management to help female entrepreneurs adapt to new trends. Strengthen connection - cooperation - development, bring member businesses deeper into the supply chain, regional linkages and trade promotion activities, tourism , and typical products of Gia Lai.
Spreading social responsibility and human values. Continuing to implement charity programs, supporting women to start businesses, aiming for green, safe and happy development. Our biggest goal is that every Gia Lai female entrepreneur will become a source of positive energy, contributing to the economy and spreading love.
After the merger, Gia Lai will be a province with both mountains and sea, with strong development potential. What do you see in the road ahead?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: I see the opportunity very clearly. Gia Lai today has two precious resources: the abundance of nature and the daring spirit of its people. Gia Lai businesswomen will play the role of a bridge, bringing local products to larger markets, bringing technology and knowledge to the community, and bringing indigenous culture to the world.

I hope the Association will be a place to connect creative ideas, a place to nurture dreams, a place where good values are spread. A strong organization is not only about scale, but also about heart and I believe that the Gia Lai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association will be that kind of organization: strong, humane and sustainable.
Finally, what would you like to say before the Congress?
Ms. Dong Thi Anh: I only have one simple wish, that is, every Gia Lai businesswoman, whether in Quy Nhon, Pleiku, Hoai Nhon or An Khe… can feel the pride of being a part of the Association. We have gone through many challenges together, now is the time to write a new chapter, a chapter of faith, solidarity and aspiration.
If you go alone, you will go fast. But if you go together, we will go far. I believe that the upcoming journey of Gia Lai Women Entrepreneurs Association will be a long, beautiful and memorable journey. Because we have each other, have faith and have love for this land.
