In the past, there have been original iPhones, never even opened, that have been auctioned for shocking amounts of money. And recently, a check signed by Steve Jobs - the late CEO of Apple - on July 8, 1976 is being valued at over $25,000 (nearly 600 million VND) by the auction house RRAuction.
The Wells Fargo check was filled out and signed by Steve Jobs on behalf of Apple Computer to a Palo Alto-based management consulting firm that served several high-tech companies in Northern California at the time, including Atari, Xerox, and National Semiconductor.
A check signed by the late CEO Steve Jobs is valued at up to 600 million VND.
The 1976 date is also interesting, as it was the year Apple was founded. The check was signed just months after the Apple I was released. RRAuction said that Steve Jobs hiring such a company in the early stages of Apple was a testament to the late CEO's vision for the long-term growth of the multinational technology corporation now headquartered in Cupertino, California.
Auction house RRAuction estimates the value of the check signed by Steve Jobs at more than $25,000. However, the current bid is only $16,500, the auction will end on May 11. At the same time, a business card of Steve Jobs at NEXT company is also being auctioned with an estimated cost of $800 to own.
