Talk show "Legendary Road 1C - Journey to fuel tradition"

Attending the program were more than 150 delegates who were officers, soldiers, union members and young people from the following units: Provincial Police Youth Union, Provincial Military Command Youth Union, Rach Gia Ward Youth Union, Vinh Thong Ward Youth Union and union members and young people from 111 affiliated Youth Union units across the province who watched the livestream on the An Giang Youth Facebook page.

The program is part of a series of propaganda activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), responding to the "Aspiration for the Country" Festival launched by the Central Youth Union among union members and young people.

At the program, delegates watched the documentary "There is a legendary route 1C", produced by An Giang Newspaper and Radio - Television, recreating the special transport - liaison route, where generations of youth volunteers exchanged their youth for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Delegates listened to the guests, who were former Union officials and former youth volunteers, share about the ideals and enthusiasm of their youth, not afraid of hardships and sacrifices, ready to go when the Fatherland needed them, along with sincere and heartfelt messages for the youth of the province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province, Thi Phuong Hong, emphasized: Promoting the tradition of the Vietnamese youth generation through the revolutionary stages, An Giang youth vows to continue to cultivate virtue, train talent, truly be a pioneering and creative force in all areas of social life and carry out the sacred task of protecting the Fatherland and building the homeland.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province, Thi Phuong Hong, presented symbolic English scholarship boards to representatives of the wards.

Students who overcome difficulties and study well in Rach Gia and Vinh Thong wards receive gifts at the program.

At the program, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Youth Union deployed the Project of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union participating in preserving and propagating historical stories with the theme "Stories of the Fire and Flower Period" to all union members, members, and children in the province from now until July 27, 2026.

The Provincial Youth Union launched the synchronous implementation of 3 major groups of activities of the project: Organizing the campaign "Memories live forever", meeting and recording historical stories; propagating and spreading "Stories of the time of war"; participating in building the "Stories of the time of war" information portal.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Youth Union awarded 20 online English scholarships and 10 gifts to students who overcame difficulties and studied well in Rach Gia and Vinh Thong wards.
