A series of abandoned projects in Da Nang , occupying dozens of hectares of land in beautiful locations in the city center or along the coast, will be unstuck by Resolution 170 of the National Assembly, effective from April 1, 2025.
Among the abandoned projects in Da Nang that have been "unstuck", there are 13 projects on Son Tra peninsula such as Son Tra high-end tourism and service complex; Bai But tourist area; Tien Sa marine eco-tourism project...
In particular, for 3 projects that were assigned land or leased land by the People's Committee of Da Nang City before July 1, 2004, the city reviewed and completed procedures according to its authority and was responsible to the National Assembly and the Government for the review results.
After reviewing the abandoned project in Da Nang, investors who meet all the conditions according to regulations will be allowed to continue using the land to carry out the project.
The resolution also states that investors who are allowed to continue implementing the project must fulfill all financial obligations. If the project does not meet the conditions, the land will be reclaimed.
For 10 abandoned projects in Da Nang that have been assigned land or leased land by the City People's Committee since July 1, 2004, it is necessary to review the project implementation process up to the time of applying Resolution 170 and complete related legal procedures.
For 14 cases stipulated by the National Assembly in Inspection Conclusion No. 2852, the land use term has been adjusted. The National Assembly Resolution allows continued land use according to the adjusted land use term.

The handling of land prices and land rents for 16 abandoned projects in Da Nang was stated by the National Assembly in the appendix of Inspection Conclusion No. 2852 dated November 2, 2012. The National Assembly's Resolution also proposed mechanisms to "remove obstacles" for Da Nang City.
