Full text of the resolution of the People's Council of Hai Duong province on the merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city

Delegates of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council voted to approve the policy of merging Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

After being unanimously approved by the Provincial People's Council delegates at the 30th Session, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 12/NQ-HDND on approving the policy of merging Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

According to the resolution, after the merger, Hai Phong City (new) has an area of ​​nearly 3,200 ^km2 , a population of more than 4.66 million people and 114 commune-level administrative units.
