On the morning of September 13th, Lao Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith and his wife, along with a high-level delegation from the Lao Party and State, departed Ho Chi Minh City for home, successfully concluding their state visit to Vietnam. According to the Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Department, upon returning home, the Lao Party General Secretary and President sent a letter of thanks to Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President To Lam. The letter reads as follows: "My wife and I, along with the high-level delegation from the Lao Party and State, have returned home safely. On behalf of the delegation, I sincerely thank General Secretary and President To Lam and the leaders of the Party, State, and people of fraternal Vietnam, especially the people of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, for the warm, respectful, and close welcome extended to our delegation throughout our state visit to Vietnam."
