Inheriting President Ho Chi Minh's ideology of "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people", Vietnam has focused on strongly developing the education sector. Up to now, the whole country has universalized education at all levels of basic education, raising the literacy rate of adults to nearly 100%. Today's young generation is not only equipped with solid knowledge, but also comprehensively educated in ideals, ethics and lifestyle.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh once said: “Every healthy citizen means the whole country is healthy”, and at the same time set the task of building a nation that is healthy both physically and mentally. Today, the Vietnamese healthcare system is constantly being strengthened and developed from the grassroots to the central level. The spirit of “A good doctor is like a mother” continues to spread, the team of doctors and nurses are dedicated day and night to taking care of the people’s health, following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.

With the strategic line of "Building the country goes hand in hand with defending the country" and the spirit of "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom", Vietnam has been building a regular, elite, and gradually modern revolutionary armed force capable of firmly protecting the Fatherland in all situations.

The Ho Chi Minh era's diplomatic policy of "Being friends with all democratic countries and not making enemies with anyone" has been and is being creatively applied, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position and role in the international arena.

Uncle Ho's spirit of daring to think, daring to do, and devoting himself to the country and people continues to inspire today's generation, continuing the great will and aspiration, determined to build a strong and developed Vietnam in the future.
