General rehearsal for the Opening Ceremony of the Wild Sunflower Week

On the afternoon of November 7th, at the communal house of Ia Gri village (Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province held a dress rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the Wild Sunflower Week - Chu Dang Ya Volcano 2024.

Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Head of the Flower Week Organizing Committee; members of the Organizing Committee; subcommittees on content, protocol, ceremonial arrangements, security and health ; representatives from specialized departments and divisions of the Provincial Department and districts; and performers from the Dam San General Music and Dance Theatre.

The opening ceremony of the Wild Sunflower Week - Chu Dang Ya Volcano 2024 will take place from 8:00 AM on November 8th at the same location, lasting 90 minutes.

The program featured many engaging segments, including the announcement of a Vietnamese record for "The largest number of artisans, performers, and students participating in a Central Highlands gong performance in Vietnam."

Following this was an art program welcoming the opening ceremony of the Flower Week, performed by artists and actors from the Dam San General Music and Dance Theatre, with the theme "Chu Dang Ya - Wild sunflowers, my love".

The program includes spectacular singing and dancing performances praising the natural beauty and people of Chu Dang Ya and Chu Pah, such as: "The Fragrance of Mountains and Flowers," "Wild Sunflowers," "Chu Pah, My Love," and "The Colors of Wild Sunflowers."
