General rehearsal of the play "The Story of the Golden Pottery Hill"

In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army December 22 (1944 - 2024), on the morning of November 11, in Ha Long City, the Department of Culture - Sports organized a rehearsal of the Cheo play "The Story of the Golden Pottery Hill" to participate in the "Red River Convergence" Mass Art Performance in Thai Binh .

The story revolves around a treasure of ancient pottery kilns under a mound.

The 45-minute Cheo play, staged by the Provincial Cultural Center, praises the fighting spirit, heroic sacrifices and achievements of the Tran Dynasty soldiers and people on the ancient land of Quang Ninh; sets an example for today's veterans in protecting, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general; educates the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility to protect cultural heritage among all people; contributes to building the homeland and country to be more and more beautiful and civilized. At the same time, the Cheo play contributes to widely propagating the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the army and people of Quang Ninh; patriotism, heroism, self-reliance and the spirit of great national unity; contributes to consolidating and fostering people's confidence in the cause of national renewal and international integration.

Participating in the Festival contributes to preserving, promoting and honoring the Cheo art values of Quang Ninh in particular and Vietnam in general in the process of innovation, integration and national development; propagating and educating patriotism, self-sacrifice for the revolutionary cause of previous generations for today's and future young generations. At the same time, creating conditions for managers, researchers; those who work and love Cheo art to have the opportunity to meet, exchange and discuss in order to improve the level, creative capacity and performance of grassroots cores, meet the needs of enjoying traditional art, enrich the spiritual life of the people. This is also an opportunity to introduce unique cultural values, promote the potential and development strengths of Quang Ninh to localities across the country.

The “Red River Convergence” mass art performance takes place in Thai Binh from November 14 to 17. According to the plan, the Quang Ninh Group will perform on November 15.
