Attending the conference at Dien Bien province were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption.

In 2023, the Party's Internal Affairs sector and the provincial Steering Committees for Anti-Corruption and Transparency have made efforts to fulfill their tasks according to the set programs and plans, contributing to promoting anti-corruption, maintaining political stability, developing the economy - society and strengthening people's trust. The work of researching, advising, proposing and implementing the Party's major viewpoints, policies and orientations, and the State's laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform continued to receive attention and achieved many positive results. During the year, the Central Internal Affairs Commission researched, developed and submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat 7 major projects and 100 reports and proposals on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform. The Central Internal Affairs Commission has proactively coordinated, advised and directed the timely handling of complex and sensitive issues related to national defense and security. The Provincial and Municipal Party Committees' Internal Affairs Committees have seriously and effectively implemented the emulation plan on detecting and advising the Party Committees to lead and direct the handling of corruption cases and incidents; proactively advising and proposing the handling of complex and prominent issues regarding security and order in the area. Although the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Disruption has just been established, it has urgently completed its apparatus, perfected its regulations and working procedures, and has been operating in an increasingly disciplined and methodical manner, creating a clear change in anti-corruption work at the local and grassroots levels.

In 2024, the Party's Internal Affairs sector has set out 6 key tasks, determined to advise and direct further promoting internal affairs, anti-corruption work and judicial reform in the spirit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's direction that each year must be higher than the previous year.

The Central Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Prevention, the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees' Internal Affairs Committees continue to research, evaluate and fully analyze the causes of limitations in order to have measures to overcome them. Review and perfect the Party's regulations and rules, contributing to the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Improve the effectiveness of the work of guiding, monitoring, urging, inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Party's guidelines and resolutions and the State's laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform; continue to effectively implement anti-corruption work. Strengthen coordination, proactively grasp the situation, advise leaders and direct the timely resolution of complex and emerging issues related to national security and social order and safety.

Concluding the conference, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac requested the Internal Affairs Commission of the provincial Party Committee, the municipal Party Committee and the provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Prevention to absorb the opinions at the conference; continue to make efforts and strive to successfully complete all tasks of the Party's internal affairs and the provincial Steering Committees for Anti-Corruption and Prevention in 2024.
