On the morning of September 29, at the Party Central Committee headquarters, General Secretary To Lam , Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity, chaired a regular meeting of the Steering Committee.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee will discuss and give opinions on the situation and results of handling corruption and negative cases since the 28th meeting (July) until now and the policy of handling a number of cases and incidents under the monitoring and direction of the Steering Committee.

At the 28th meeting in July, the Steering Committee requested to focus on thoroughly handling serious and complicated corruption, waste and negative cases such as the cases that occurred at Thuan An Group, Vietnam Cement Corporation, related to Bach Mai Hospital Project and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (2nd facility), Nha Trang airport project.

The Steering Committee also requested to review and list the conclusions and recommendations of inspection, examination, audit, investigation, prosecution and trial that have not been completed or implemented to date, clarify the causes and responsibilities, have solutions for implementation and clearly determine the completion time, not to let them "sink", especially after operating the new organizational apparatus.
