The Ministry of Education and Training assigned a series of strategic tasks to the University of Education - University of Danang.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong requested the University of Education - Danang University to pioneer in innovation and improve the quality of teaching staff in the new period.

On November 15, the University of Education - University of Danang held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the journey of connection and development (1975 - 2025) with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Danang City, representatives of international agencies and organizations and many generations of teachers, staff and alumni.

Attending the ceremony were Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong; leaders of the City Party Committee and People's Committee of Da Nang City; leaders of Da Nang University; former leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, former leaders of Da Nang University, and representatives of the Consulates General of Laos, China, Russia, Japan, Poland in Da Nang City; partners, businesses and a large number of staff, lecturers and students of the school.

In his commemorative speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of the University of Education - University of Danang, expressed his deep gratitude to generations of teachers, staff and students who have contributed to building the foundation and position of the school over the past half century.

The principal emphasized that each stage of development marks the school's persistent efforts in the career of "cultivating people", affirming its reputation in the university education system and in the international arena.

Up to now, the University of Education - Danang University is one of the 7 core pedagogical universities in the country; a key member of Danang University in implementing Conclusion 45, aiming to bring Danang University to join the group of prestigious universities in Asia.

The school has 31 accredited programs, a rich training system with more than 10,000 undergraduate students and 1,500 graduate students each year; the number of lecturers with doctoral degrees is 67%, double the national average.

Congratulating the school's achievements, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong acknowledged its important contributions to innovation in general education, training high-quality teachers and spreading Vietnamese culture to international friends.

The Deputy Minister of Education and Training requested the school to continue to be a pioneer in implementing resolutions on education and training, especially innovation, science and technology; focus on developing the teaching staff; update training programs in an open direction; attach importance to student affairs; improve facilities; and promote international cooperation, bringing Vietnamese language and culture to the world.

At the ceremony, the University of Education - University of Danang was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the President; many collectives and individuals were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal, emulation flags and certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training, the People's Committees of localities, along with awards from the provinces of Southern Laos and the Consulate General of the Lao PDR in Danang City.

In a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its establishment, the school organized a forum on agricultural and medicinal plant innovation and entrepreneurship, inaugurated many works and projects to beautify the landscape and cultural space, contributing to spreading pride, towards a responsible, creative and service university model in the new development period.
