On the morning of November 16, the People's Committee of Da Nang City simultaneously held groundbreaking ceremonies for three inter-level boarding school projects in border communes.

The projects include: La Dee Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Hung Son Primary and Secondary Boarding School, and Dac Pring Primary and Secondary Boarding School.

These are key projects to improve the quality of education , improve learning conditions for students in mountainous areas and contribute to strengthening security and defense in border areas.

La Dee Primary and Secondary Boarding School project is built on an area of ​​over 78,700 m², with a total investment of nearly 291.6 billion VND.

The project is designed in a modern style according to border boarding school standards, including a learning area, a dormitory for teachers and students, a multi-purpose building, a library, a cafeteria, a football field, and a synchronous technical infrastructure and fire prevention system.

The project is expected to be completed in August 2026 and put into use in the 2026-2027 school year; with a scale of 20 classes in the 2026-2030 period (about 700 students), expanding to 30 classes after 2030 (about 1,000 students).

The Hung Son Primary and Secondary Boarding School project has a total cost of more than 278 billion VND, with a construction area of ​​over 73,000 m².

The project fully meets the standards of a boarding school with a design suitable for the terrain and climate conditions of the mountainous region. The primary school block consists of 2 buildings with a floor area of ​​over 1,995 m²; the secondary school block has 1 building with an area of ​​over 2,050 m².

In addition, there is also an administrative area, headquarters, cafeteria, library, multi-purpose hall, sports field, and dormitory system for teachers and students with a total area of ​​over 11,000 m². The project is expected to be completed in August 2026, serving more than 1,340 students.

The Dac Pring Primary and Secondary Boarding School project has a total investment of nearly 289 billion VND, with a planned area of ​​over 60,800 m². The project includes a 3-storey classroom block, a 3-storey administrative block, a cafeteria, a multi-purpose hall, a student dormitory, and a housing area for teachers and staff.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dac Pring Primary and Secondary Boarding School project, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, emphasized the special significance of the program to build a system of boarding schools in border communes. He affirmed that this is a policy with strategic vision, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State for the cause of education, socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security in border areas.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang said that recently, the city has proactively reviewed planning, selected locations, and closely coordinated with ministries and branches to carefully prepare investment procedures, ensuring that projects are implemented on schedule and put into operation by August 2026 at the latest.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, presented gifts to excellent students overcoming difficulties in La Dee commune.

The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee requested the Department of Education and Training, other departments, branches, local authorities and the Quang Nam Construction Investment Project Management Board to focus on resolving difficulties and supporting contractors in the spirit of "overcoming the sun and the rain", ensuring quality, technique, aesthetics, and labor safety; absolutely not allowing any loss or negativity to occur.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the new schools will be places to sow knowledge, light up dreams, and symbolize the spirit of national solidarity and the responsibility of the Party and State towards people in border areas.
