On the afternoon of November 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) in coordination with the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technical Creativity (VIFOTEC), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology held the closing and awarding ceremony of the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2025.

The 2025 National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition was launched at the end of 2024. The competition attracted 847 entries from 34 provinces and cities across the country.

According to statistics from the secretariat, 29/34 provinces and cities have award-winning topics, of which the provinces and cities with many award-winning topics are: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nghe An, Hai Phong, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Can Tho, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Quang Ninh, Quang Ngai.

At the closing ceremony, the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee awarded 105 prizes, including 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 60 consolation prizes, with a total value of 715 million VND. These are works selected based on the impartial and objective evaluation of the jury.

Among the winning projects, there is one project from Ha Tinh province, the Smartschool Digital School software (in the field of computer software) by the group of students Tran Van Gia Bao and Tran Huu Phuc Nguyen (Le Van Thiem Secondary School) with instructor Hoang Thi Ngoc Tra, which won third prize. This project also won second prize in the 2025 provincial science and technology innovation contest for children.

In addition to the main awards, the Competition Steering Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 15 units and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in promoting, popularizing and organizing the competition locally.
The SmartSchool Digital School Software Project is not simply an electronic attendance tool, but a comprehensive, intelligent educational management platform that demonstrates innovation and creativity. The software is currently being applied at Le Van Thiem Secondary School.
