At around 10:00 p.m. on June 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin and a high-ranking delegation moved from the center of Hanoi to Noi Bai airport.

After giving interviews to international news agencies and press at the airport conference room, Russian President Vladimir Putin went straight to his plane and greeted the Vietnamese delegation.

During his nearly 24 hours in Vietnam, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a busy schedule, holding talks with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President To Lam, meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man .

Russian President Putin and Vietnamese leaders discussed and agreed on directions to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and President To Lam witnessed the exchange of 11 cooperation documents and exchanged views on important regional and global issues of mutual concern. The two sides also issued a Joint Statement on deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Russian President Putin also met with generations of Vietnamese students who studied in the former Soviet Union and present-day Russia, attended a concert and a state reception before concluding his state visit to Vietnam.
