On June 19th, Russian President Putin will arrive in Hanoi , beginning a two-day state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
According to the planned schedule, President Putin's delegation will arrive at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) on June 19th. The entire official welcoming ceremony and bilateral meetings with Vietnamese leaders will take place on June 20th.
During the visit, Russian President Putin will hold talks with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Both sides will hear presentations on the signed documents and speak to the press after the talks.
At the same time, President Putin will meet with President To Lam, leaders of the Vietnam Friendship Association, and generations of Vietnamese alumni who studied in Russia. He will also have activities with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man .

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi, during the visit, leaders of the two countries will discuss and set directions for the comprehensive strategic partnership until 2030, clearly defining key areas of cooperation, from economics, trade, defense and security, energy, science and technology to education, culture, and people-to-people diplomacy.
Long-term goals and specific action plans will be set out to ensure the sustainable and effective development of bilateral relations in the future.
Furthermore, the visit also provides an opportunity for both sides to sign and implement new cooperation agreements, creating momentum to boost bilateral relations.
These agreements not only bring economic benefits but also strengthen the political and strategic ties between the two countries. Especially in the context of a volatile international situation, close cooperation between Vietnam and Russia is more important than ever.
Mr. Khoi stated that President Putin's visit to Vietnam also sends a strong message about mutual respect between the two countries. This is a clear manifestation of friendship and solidarity, thereby contributing to enhancing the position of both countries on the international stage, for the common benefit of both peoples and for peace and stability in the region and the world.
This is also an opportunity for the two countries to exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern, contributing to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.
"I believe that President Putin's visit will be a significant milestone, marking the strong and sustainable development of the special relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, leading bilateral relations steadily on an open path towards a bright future of close and loyal friendship and a comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era," Mr. Khoi emphasized.
The Vietnamese ambassador to Russia also stated that the visit was of paramount importance, as it would further deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia in all areas.
This relationship will be elevated in the new context, especially as the two countries are striving to realize the Joint Statement on the Vision for a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to 2030.
"This visit is not only an important diplomatic event but also demonstrates Russia's appreciation and commitment to multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam," according to Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi.
