According to RT on July 28, President Trump warned that the US could attack Iran again if Tehran continues to enrich uranium.
Last week, speaking to Fox News , Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi insisted that Iran would not abandon its " peaceful " nuclear program. He said that uranium enrichment was an achievement of Iranian scientists and a "national pride."
In response, President Trump on July 27 threatened to continue attacking Iran. "We have taken out their nuclear capability. They can start again. If they do, we will take it out again," he said.
Meanwhile, Iran has repeatedly affirmed that it is not pursuing nuclear weapons.
"We are ready to take any confidence-building measures necessary to demonstrate that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful, and that Iran will never pursue nuclear weapons," Foreign Minister Araghchi said last week.
Mr. Araghchi also rejected accusations that Iran wanted to destroy Israel or plotted to assassinate President Trump.
