President Donald Trump wants Kiev to allow US companies access as compensation for the tens of billions of dollars Washington provided in aid under his predecessor Joe Biden.
Mr. Mike Waltz, President Trump's national security advisor, predicted on February 21 that President Zelensky would soon sign the agreement, but the content of this document has not yet been made public.
According to AFP , with the current draft form, Mr. Zelensky is not ready to accept it, Kiev is still trying to make constructive changes and additions.
The source said that there are no US obligations in the agreement regarding guarantees or investments, everything about the country is very vague and Washington wants to "extract" $500 billion from Ukraine. This is not cooperation and Kiev has no reason to pay that $500 billion, and Ukraine has already proposed amendments to the agreement.
