The German President stressed that 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The President affirmed that the relationship between the two countries has continuously developed in a constructive spirit and towards prosperity and peace.

The connections between the two peoples are considered a solid foundation for bilateral relations. In the context of the world facing many challenges, the German President said that Vietnam-Germany cooperation is even more important.

The President of the European Council affirmed that the Vietnamese people have the right to be proud of their achievements as peace, stability and socio-economic progress have been firmly consolidated. The European Union is honored to have accompanied Vietnam since the two sides established diplomatic relations in 1990.

The President of the European Council assessed that over the past 35 years, the partnership between the two sides has been continuously strengthened and developed deeply; the two sides' upgrading of the relationship will be the clearest demonstration of the two sides' common commitment to taking the bilateral relationship further.

President Nicolas Maduro expressed his admiration and tribute to President Ho Chi Minh for his vision and tireless struggle to protect the Vietnamese people's right to self-determination.
