Tung Duong: When listening to Secret Garden's music, we seem to get lost in the enchanting world they lead us to.

- Do you listen to Secret Garden's music? Which song left the biggest impression or the most memories for Tung Duong?

When it comes to Secret Garden, we will be impressed by their musical style in each album, not just each song. The 2 albums Song from A Secret Garden and White Stones have always been in my favorite list. But the song most associated with Tung Duong is You raise me up . I have been asked to sing this song many times in big shows because of its meaningful lyrics and the song's melody has become immortal.

Every time I have the opportunity to sing in front of international friends, I choose this song to show off my voice and for the audience to most easily feel the qualities in my voice: wide range, free and soaring melody as if lifting the voice to fly high, singing as if echoing into the cliffs... It is a popular and very special song of Secret Garden. Recently, Tung Duong also chose to sing it when he went to meet the family of famous singer Andrea Bocelli in Italy.

- In your opinion, why is Secret Garden's music loved by many people? Is it because their music is easy to listen to, easy to touch people's hearts, romantic, mysterious, healing or because Secret Garden's compositions are popular but very good because both artists are so talented?

You need music to relieve the stress and pressure of daily work but do not want to listen to classical music, take a few minutes to come to the mysterious music garden of Secret Garden. Secret Garden has cleverly led the listener into each detail of the story with only 3 instruments: drums, piano and violin to create a world of their own. With the real talent of the 2 members: writing music, playing music, having a clear musical thought... with the melody of the songs is also very easy to listen to and attractive. That is the key to Secret Garden's success.

Secret Garden will perform for the first time in Hanoi on the evening of October 18, opening the world tour celebrating its 30th anniversary.

- Is Tung Duong excited to enjoy their first performance in Vietnam this coming October on the program "Good Morning Vietnam" organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group?

The end of the year is busy but I will definitely arrange my performance schedule to have the chance to attend and fully enjoy the music of Secret Garden. Their music has a truly healing spirit. When listening to their music, we seem to be lost in the world that they enchant. I trust director Pham Hoang Nam with his magical stage design and lighting to enhance the music of Secret Garden. In my opinion, it was an interesting meeting between a Vietnamese director and a world music group.

- According to Tung Duong, what significance do shows by long-standing international artists have in promoting the Vietnamese music market and improving the public's taste in music?

Vietnam has a lot of potential and a good market for international artists to choose as a performance venue. It helps domestic audiences get closer and connect with the world music market. We will see their shows promote increasingly higher music aesthetics as well as the Vietnamese music market develop and become more bustling.

Kenny G, Bond, BlackPink, Charlie Puth and many other international artists coming to Vietnam to perform will raise the position of Vietnam on the world map. The Vietnamese market is much different from the past, more developed and the music industry gives us more professionalism than before as well as opens up opportunities to meet and exchange with international artists and they also trust Vietnam.

Musician Nguyen Van Chung: My music and creative personality are influenced by the group Secret Garden

I really like listening to the music of the group Secret Garden, there are songs that left a strong impression at first sight. Song from A Secret Garden, The Promise, Fairytale were the first songs I listened to and was impressed by because even though they were just piano melodies and orchestral pieces, they brought a lot of emotions. That was the first time I felt that music was magical, in that just the notes could let me imagine many images, many scenes and immerse myself in different emotions.

I don't know why Secret Garden's music is loved by many people, I only know why I like it. I like Secret Garden's music because of its romantic melody, easy to listen to and highly healing. Listening to Secret Garden's music, I feel like I'm entering another space full of peace, nostalgia and immersion in emotions. I'm a musician and very sensitive so I like to immerse myself in those emotions, it can be sadness, it can be beautiful memories, it can be regret but the rest is just peace and emotional flow. It gently flows like a breeze and I lie on a lawn in the afternoon and feel the scent of grass and the cool breeze blowing across my face. Or there is a song I listen to on a stormy night and feel the place I live so peaceful. I see the magic that music brings to me.

My music and my creative personality are influenced by the Secret Garden group. My first point of view on composing is that the song must have a good melody, a beautiful melody, healing, positive, nostalgic, and emotional qualities. I was very eager to enjoy the group's concert in Vietnam in October, but unfortunately, due to a previous schedule jam, I could not attend even though I really wanted to. Director Pham Hoang Nam said this was the show with the group's most beautiful stage, so it increased my regret. But whether I went to see it or not, I still have a very special love for the music of the Secret Garden group.

Legendary band Secret Garden will perform 30 live songs on stage in Hanoi. Director Pham Hoang Nam could not hide his excitement when taking on the role of stage director for “Secret Garden Live in Vietnam” on October 18 in Hanoi because he has been a fan of Secret Garden for many years.
