(NLDO)- The male singer refused to cover "hot hits", viral songs that were not composed by real people. Tung Duong said he wanted to have the most genuine emotions.

There, the beauty of his voice goes hand in hand with the melodies that have accompanied the memories, the memories and the souls of many generations of Vietnamese music lovers.

At the press conference on the afternoon of November 6 in Hanoi , answering a question about the fact that after more than 20 years of singing, this is the first time he has released a vinyl record, Tung Duong said that playing vinyl records is a very luxurious thing, it takes effort, conditions, brainpower to research, and costs a lot of things.

"Buying a hi-end sound system and speakers is also expensive. So if we talk about class, it's true, not wrong because it's an expensive game for both the player and the performer. Up until now, Tung Duong's albums have been printed on vinyl records for sale, but they are only digitally converted to vinyl format" - Tung Duong said.

Tung Duong has shown the best of his singing but still shows a difference in the way he approaches songs that have existed for decades.

This time, the male singer intentionally made the record from scratch, he returned to the original, singing what the ancients praised.

Although it has a minimalist, warm and luxurious spirit, but with the personality of a creative artist, not willing to stop with what is too familiar, the album "The Voice - Timeless" still brings a different Tung Duong through the spirit he wants to convey through each song.

It is not only a recreation of the golden moments of Vietnamese music through classic works but also a dialogue between the past and the present, the old and the new. On a beautiful musical background, carefully composed by musician Hong Kien, with many classical features, Tung Duong has expressed the quintessence of his singing but still shows a difference in the way he approaches songs that have existed for many decades.

Talking more about many singers applying AI to their products, Tung Duong said he is not anti-AI or technology, music projects like "Liti" (2009) he did with Nguyen Cong Phuong Nam in Germany used DJ with symphony.

"Now AI technology and technology have blossomed, AI can make music, compose for you, without having to use your brainpower, and can even sing without needing a singer. Recently, there were a few "hot hits", viral songs that were not composed by real people, and there were also invitations for me to sing "cover" songs of those songs, but I refused. I am an artist - a human being, I want the most genuine emotions, respect the brainpower of musicians, made by composers and producers themselves" - Tung Duong affirmed.

The male singer also emphasized that the AI ​​element only supports and assists the artist to improve, not using all of AI to compose or sing. AI should only be used as a working tool, not to control the artist's creativity. The artist's heart and creativity are the most important.

"The Voice - Timeless" consists of 8 songs, which can be considered an "on-demand" collection because they are all songs loved by the audience.

The project's music director - musician Hong Kien brought a multi-colored musical space on a seemingly monochromatic background (because they were all familiar songs, timeless love songs), from gentle semi-classical, to a bit of improvisational jazz and emotional funky/soul style through which Tung Duong expressed the changing beauty of his singing.
